Anger
Before I show you the cure, I need to explain to you two
things:
1. Your anger is not your enemy. Rather it is telling you
there is a problem inside you that needs to be fixed.
2. The problem inside you is of a spiritual nature, and is
much more powerful than your will power; which is
why it continues to operate despite your best intentions.
A parallel may make this point clear. Suppose you get a
splinter in your finger. The pain is your friend that tells you it
is there. If your body didn't send up the feeling of pain, you
wouldn't know it was there. The splinter would remain in you
and it would become infected. That would be a bad thing.
But since you can feel the pain, you now know there is a
splinter and you can remove it. After you remove the
splinter, the pain will go away and your finger can heal.
The Parallel
In the same way, your pain (anger) tells you there is a
problem inside you that needs to be"removed." If you don't
remove it, it will fester and grow bigger and become harder to
ignore or manage.
You have probably had this exact experience: the harder you
try not to be angry, the worse you anger problem becomes.
This is terribly frustrating.
There is an answer, and it is not to "manage" your anger. It
is to remove the "splinter" - the cause of the anger.
Then there will be no anger, because there is no problem
inside you to cause the anger.
Of course, then the question is: what is the problem that is
triggering your anger?

anger.
Please feel free to spend as much time as you like
on the website. I pray that the Lord will richly bless you
with victory and peace in place of your ongoing battle with
angry outbursts.
